The Hellfire Pass
Hellfire Pass is the name of a railway in Thailand, which was built with forced labor during World War II. The Hellfire Pass was called so because of the harsh conditions the prisoners suffered during its construction: emaciated prisoners and torchlights resembled scenes of Hell.
